It’s his biggest challenge at 168. You been living under a rock or something…

Fans voted with their wallets at his last fight. This atrocious match would no doubt fare even worse.

Scull is a good fighter, but commercially this fight is irrelevant.

Canelo won't take a fight like this at this point in his career

Benavidez doesn't fight at 168 anymore, he's a Light Heavyweight. What are you talking about 168?

He's also undisciplined, and has substance abuse issues which has caused him to lose his title twice.

His first title was a vacant title against a guy who besides Benavidez has never fought a 12 rounder.

His second title he won against Dirrell, who won the Vacant title against Yildirim in a fight je arguably should have lost. The same Yildirim Canelo easily destroyed and was criticized for fighting.

Then with their only common opponent in Plant, Canelo decimated him while Benavidez went to a decision in a close fight.

500k is actually good in today's market.

Besides Garcia who has sold 500K or more?

    Sit down son.

Fans asked for Benavidez, Canelo provided Munguia.

The numbers were far lower than he wanted for cinco de mayo with two mexican fighters.

Darling, I think it's you who needs to sit down.

Clenelo fanboys exhibiting 0 logic ITT as usual.
Someone actually said why should Clenelo fight someone who left 168 for 175 lol. You mean the division where Clenelbuterolo held a title and challenged for a unified title? Why did he even go after two career LHW in Kovalev and Bivol in the first place and what's stopping him from going after Benavidez at 175? Clenelo actually has more experience at that weight class than David lmao

Substance abuse and fighting at 175 is something Clenelo and David have in common then(except David hasn't actually fought anyone at that weigh yet while Clenelo fought two champions)

How do we know he is any good? I have no idea how Skull leapt over guys like MiBilli or even Berlanga ( who sucks but have at least faced better opposition than the German weekend gym fighters Skull has faced).

Scull is 22-0 with 9 ko's and hasn't fought anyone. If this was a stay busy non title fight,,, okay. But giving this guy a title shot is a slap in the face to the worthy 168 pound division contenders.

Come on Limerick , you know what I am getting at. He isnt good until he fights a challenge. You cant say he is good. He has skills but good? Dont know how anyone can say that yet with what he has face.
