He's with Haymon, might be purse bid time. More likely Haymon pulls Wade out, in which case it would be GGG-N'Dam?
This has probably been done to death but why can't GGG move up and fight one of the dozen champs/contenders at 168…..his reign at middle is looking less stellar than Joe Calz pre Kessler, much worse. (no disrespect to Joe certified HOF)
Give me one good reason why he would go up to 168 when he is the mandatory to the 2nd biggest cash cow in boxing right now, and may have to go down at a CW to fight him this September.
But seriously, Wade might die. I know this isn't GGG's fault, but I'd hate to see a prospect get absolutely obliterated.
Biz wise it makes sense though I wouldn't be extremely impressed by a win vs that cash cow though it would put him on the map for most casuals. I'd imagine most hardcore fans see the distinct advantages GGG holds vs Canelo and its sorta a high risk low reward type of battle. If GGG wants true glory I believe he needs to move up.
Wade is the guy who shafted Sam Soliman big time. One of the worst decisions in 2015. Haymon should do the right thing and cash out. :deal
