Pulev beat Solis in the ams...

this will be very interesting, providing the fat **** Solis can get into decent shape

Wait how did Solis on a lay off and beating an ok guy earn this

truly there must be other guys in the top 5 more active and beating better guys

Hope Puleev wins he is on a nice win track and may be dangerous for Wlad because outside of a punch and a chin Solis to me doesnt have the other tools to beat wlad

Your smoking. Solis was skinny then, and seemed a more dedicated fighter, but since, even fattened up, Solis has gotten faaar better than he was when he lost a hometown decision to Pulev in the ams.:rofl

By the time this fight comes off Wlad has a year, right? He'll be fine.

Solis has fought solid competition since his very first pro fight. While I detest his training habits and his fighting down to his LOC on occasion, no one can take away from his solid resume at this stage.

I think Oner rushed him to the title and withheld medical info soas not to postpone or cancel the Vitali fight, but this is a 4 man elimination similar to the one that allowed Thomspon his rematch.

Solis would have had to beat Airrich, then possibly Ustinov then possibly Pulev in order to get Wlad sometime late in 2013.

IMO, winning those 3 consecutive tough fights would certainly warrant another shot.:think

Pulev will knock Solis out and then this guy will give Wlad a good fight.....looking forward to it.

    I'll give you that...

But that's why I said 'relatively' - If Solis weighs around 246 (Klitschko fight) he beats Pulev.

I know Solis's leg gave up on him, but he has weighed heavier than 246 and his knee has been fine.

Pulev easy UD. Solis is an unmotivated slob who doesn't care about his career.

didnt know it was like that i thought his win over Airich was giving him a single eliminator to face Wlad

if he had to fight 3 fights like that and won in good fashion than id say sure, at the time being im not interested

i do like Puleev as an opponent

Solis was an alltime great amature and i wish he would train harder this division needs good quality heavyweights like a ***** needs a hard dick but the problem is i beleive as far as cuban hw go's Perez and Ortiz have passed him only because of weight and inactivty and its really a shame

OK this would be an interesting fight. I want to see this and hope this gets done ASAP. Even a fat Solis could be entertaining for a couple rounds vs. Pulev.
