I believe Pulev will be a stiffer test than anyone Wlad has faced in a long time but Wlad will win another one sided fight, he's simply heads and shoulders above anyone else in the division. Pulev doesn't have the power to bomb Wlad out like Sanders and his style will allow Wlad to fight at a comfortable range. But this is a worthy opponent, in my opinion better than Povetkin. Hopefully Wlad will be able to put on an impressive display and not leave the fans shaking their heads again after the fight.
Wlad is going to Wrestle Pulev for 12 boring rounds. Only chance Pulev has is to cut Wlad's very thin skin with his jab. No Pulev lacks power but it don't take much to hurt Wlad. My best guess is this fight will look the same as the Povetkin fight. Pulev needs to foul WLad back and make it a dirty fight.
I see more than half of you don't know s*** about boxing. That is going to be one of Wlad's toughest tests to date.
Is it confirmed to be September 6th? I was hoping for something like July or August, so it would leave enough time for the third fight this year.
Impossibe for it to be scheduled for 6th Sept in Hambourg. absolutely impossible. Neither camps have even begun negotiating and Sauerland may win purse bids if it goes there. That date in Sept is reserved for One Direction.
If Pulev had power, then he would be with a chance, otherwise I just don't see how he can win. Being competent at everything just isn't enough to beat Wlad.
I would rather see Wladimir fighting Wilder. I think that's the exciting fight. My next option would be the winner of Stiverne v Arreola.
