hope Sturm wins just becasue Gary Hyde(HNN's manager) will be such a hypocrite if HNN wins. He will be making up all types of excuses as to why they won't face GGG

while for the last two years all we've heard is how appalled he is no one will fight rigo

I don't think this Jermain Taylor story is going to end well at all. That said, strictly from a boxing perspective, that Soliman fight is a helluva final win to end a career on.

Too bad he's so messed up - whether it's head trauma related or he's just being an idiot.

Again, what's sad is I'd take Taylor over both Sturm and N'Dam.

If he'd have finished his career knocking off Soliman and Sturm - two of his peers - to go with his wins against Hopkins, that would've been something.

He really screwed up. How that guy is allowed to have guns I have no idea.

Sturm seemed pretty content at the higher weight against Steiglitz. IMO, there should be some sort of an eliminator for the #2 ranking BEFORE anyone fights for the vacant strap. Lemieux-Sturm would be decent, but the negotiations will be a nightmare. Lemieux-Saunders would also be decent, but I suppose it all depends on how the WBO situation shakes out.

taylor should not be allowed to box even if physically he can still do it.taylor's brain has turned into mush.ibf is a joke for letting him fight for their title.

Sturm fought at 168 last time out and probably realizes HNN would box his ears off so we might get Lemieux.

However...if HNN wins then Hyde will have demands for HNN Vs Golovkin and when he ducks them...he'll lose any right to criticise the guys at 122...

Golovkin will soon become Cotto's mandatory, but Cotto will refuse to fight him. Golovkin by easy knockout!!!

There's no chance of GGG getting a shot at this title anytime soon then.

Back when the WBA had 3 Middleweight champions (!), both Sturm and N'Kijam blatantly avoided Golovkin for an absurd amount of time. The nadir was when Hassan sent the WBA a begging letter asking them not to force the fight, then finally just giving it up.

There's more chance of Cotto-GGG and I'm not exactly holding my breath for that one.
