That was likely going to be the outcome as there seems to be a lot of politics going on here.
Anyway Groves is happy with the 15% and for it to go to purse bids where he stands the chance of making a lot of money from his 15%, so I can see Hearn maybe making George a improved offer in the next 24 hrs because he wont want it going to purse bids.
Groves is still in the driving seat because he is the mandatory and the ball is in Froch's court as he has to fight George or vacate the title.

 

I honestly don't think Groves would give a f*ck if he got booed. Do you not remember he was booed walking to the ring against Froch last time out?

As for Groves's crying and whinging :huh I take it you mean by him going down the appeal process which was successful and if he didn't do it we wouldn't even be talking about a rematch, So You should take that into consideration before you jump the gun again.

 

Groves isn't winning any friends with his constant whining and crying, whats he gonna say now, that the IBF are corrupt ? Odd really when you consider that they ordered the rematch.

I thought Groves was so desperate for this rematch, he would haven't taken pretty much any thing. I mean this will be the biggest payday in his career and if he beats Froch then the pounds will fly in. A little bit of doubt creeping in maybe !!

He would be stupid not to try to get as much as he can.

 

Groves doesn't care about what people think or the split he gets imo he just doesn't want Froch to have control or dictate terms, The same reason he didn't accept Eddie's offer people need to understand that George just doesn't want anyone to have control over him even if Hearn offered him 25% (i don't believe he did) George would rather 15% then have any ties to Hearn he wants to be his own boss it's how he coped so well despite all the mess leading up to the last fight the man has serious mental toughness.

 

The man is riddled with self doubt and insecurities.
