Allthis bitching and moaning by Groves has come back to to bite him on his ass. What now George since your big mouth has basically screwed himself out of a potential huge payday. How much do you want the fight now?

After all the talk on this British Forum about how Froch will duck Groves, i find it ammusing that not only did he offer the rematch before it was ordered, now Groves will be getting even less of a split

    Aint life a *****

Roll on the rematch. My moneys on Froch by KO.................... again

I wonder if all these appeals are a smokescreen by Groves to attempt to delay the fight. There's no way it's going to happen in the ordered 90 days as it is. But Groves isn't daft, whilst he obviously wants the fight, he knows Froch is aging whilst he is peaking and every month the fight gets put back the odds shift slightly in his favour.

Possibly, but at the same time giving an aging fighter a few more months to rest and recuperate could be counter productive.

the figures bandied about are a £1m split of £6m total, or 16 & 2/3%.

even frank ****** said the opposite in his collum, he said the 7 figure sum is worth a lot more than `a 15% split

The 'seven figure sum' has terms (a multi fight deal) though and Groves doesn't want to be tied down to Hearn.

George is ENTITLED to hold out for purse bids, but Hearn is basically saying if Groves doesn't accept his deal before purse bids then Froch will look at different options (Chavez) because he doesn't want it to go to purse bids in case a rival promoter out bids him. Hearn only wants the fight on his terms.

george only wants the fight on his terms since when as a challenger dictated terms , when all said and done he wants to fight the ibf champion so he will have to adheer to thier rules #gingerwhinger #15%orgohome
