I think Badou Jack or Kovalev would like to rumble. Not being able to find a suitable bum should force Beterbiev into one of these high caliber matches, and long overdue. It's a hot division. He could fight Stevenson, Gvozdyk, Bivol. There are at least five worthwhile opponents. Him and his crew just have to reach out and come to fair terms with them. Surely, someone will bite.

You can crush bums in a cold division where there is no one to fight, but when your division is red hot you need to fight the other champs and contenders to distinguish yourself.

 

I don't know, Stevenson refused to fight Kovalev for any amount of money, even changed from HBO to Showtime to avoid Kovalev.......................

 

Well this is just sad, we know fighters are offered fights and use the old "we are going another route" or "we won't be ready" lines to side step or delay fights but this is ridiculous.

They should make new rules.. for example, Unless a fighter has a scheduled fight with contracts signed and providing they have enough time (maybe something like 90 days) to have a camp.. I believe if they turn down a world title shot they should be removed from the rankings for a lengthy period of time.

Maybe even throw on a fine.

I'm probably talking rubbish, long night, tired.. what's Beterbievs number? I'll take it, I'll shock the world.

Kolling took a savage beating off of Arthur, clouds career was ended and everyone he has faced gets brutalised. I can understand not wanting to fight him but this is a disgrace.
The worst is Marcus browne the serial ducker, ducked gvodsyk,bivol and Arthur.

But what are all these guys going to do? 175 is packed the guys holding the belts will all be killers, are yarde and browne going to sit around twiddling their thumbs for 5 years until a soft belt becomes available?

 

They need to allow him to select people outside of the top 15, these guys are jokes . Guys like Monaghan should be running to a title shot.

 

Monaghan sparred artur and by his own account got the living crap beaten out of him, his performances got a lot worse after sparring artur, I think it kind of ruined him.
