Well, Murata isnt the worst option, so long as he doesnt loose the IBF belt because of it.

At this point, this is what i think makes the most sense if we’re not talking only about money.
- defend IBF
- unify with Saunders
- fight Murata. Make the fight in japan, more money, adds fan base for his next [possibly] last big fight
- rematch Jacobs or fight ginger if he behaves.

After that he can either retire or fight Khan at MW or Chavez Jr. at 164, I wouldnt care, mandatories would be sorted (except for Charlo but i dont expect he’ll earn his shot any time soon), belts unified, happy days.

 

pay ggg the same money as canelo fight...exactly!

 

It would kinda be a shame, if after Golovkin has defended against mostly cans, that guys who would be his best opponents to date, would have to knock each other off and still may not get a shot.
