Surprised he got in at all.I tended to imagine him being one of the constantly overlooked ones for years to come.

Just to let you know, I was on 2 committees, the modern and oldtimers, and I am proud to say that I picked all 6, 3 in each category, that were elected.

Also, Larry Hazzard, who happens to be a very good friend of mine, was elected. Hazzard was rated as the top referee in the business before he became the New Jersey State Athletic Commissioner, where he stayed for 22 years. He now is one of the top people in the IBF.

Either Chang or Yuh were bound to get in eventually I guess. He is the first Korean to make it in correct?

Seriously, he should've been in close to 2 decades ago, when Burley got in. What a disgrace. :-(

Cant belive after 80 years, former lightweight champion Rocky Kansas is on the votes to get in(Does not mean he make it though.)

The guy gave Benny Leonard 2 great fights(Or so I heard lol) and beat the hard hitter Lew Tendler, for which is he is most rember for. Wins over Dundee, and Mitchell dont hurt his standed.

Now Most guys dont have him in the top 100 lightweights of all time about, because of lack of footage. That and being forgotting.

I relly hope he gets the votes to get into the hall, he earn it, but I dont think he get in.

Isn't the article saying that he's been elected though? Unless I'm misreading it.

No, they do more than one of each per year. For instance - Olivares, Sanchez, Patterson, and Tiger are all "modern era", and all class of '91.

I'm glad to see Miske finally get in. I'll be finished with a draft of a biography about him within the next couple of months.
