Yeah Billy is about to fight on channel 10 and the promoter offered the ibo title with Asiku and Billy wont take it isnt this true Contendo.
Daz52, Your correct, Billy was at that night as an invited guest and as you clearly see on the replays, both Billy Dib and Billy Hussein jumped straight over to help Willie Kickett which at all times should be paramount and protecting the fighter. Billy has thrived under Hussein's method's and we feel, will certainly grow and develop accordingly. Debates about style is what makes 'The Sweet Science' what it is, everyone's different and everyone can still be effective. No boxing316, your are incorrect, the respective promoter involved with this upcoming event didn't offer us Jackson Asiku and has a formal proposal I had prepared for fighter options involving Billy. There were three people involved in the meeting, somehow my memory doesn't recall that involving you? Is it just me everyone, or is boxing316 simply someone involved with Asiku? I think boxing316 you are picking little bit's of everyone's opinion, comments or interpretation and then casting this as fact. You have been shown to mis-quote things in your earlier posts and unfortunately, your simply not privvy to the facts of the matter. Please keep calling for a Asiku/Dib bout, you'll do us more favours than yourself because as it stands, NO promoter has come forth with formal terms, bar the original proposed offer which I outlined as being poor. I welcome you and any fan calling for the bout, I hope every promoter in Australia listens and put's a proper offer to us and the bout happen. This is my last response to this 'thread' as I'm sure I've covered off sufficiently. Cheers to all.
Its great to have more managers and the like in here so keep posting. Ok so the offer was poor....do you then counter that offer to what your team can work with?
For a vacant world title in your own back yard you would fight for next to nothing if you thought you could win. Billy or his management obviously dont think he can win as simple as that I wish they would just say "at this stage a fight with Asiku would be pushin **** up hill at the moment , a bit too hard at this stage of his career" instead of all the bull**** excuses. His maneger comes on here like an upper class wanka and spins us alot of crap.
Easy to say you would take the deal, but this is people's livelihoods, and if they think they can win then it still makes sense to wait. Just because you might take the fight does not justify labelling it as bull**** excuses, that is bull**** itself, and the reasons provided seemed pretty comprehesive to me. Ashley makes a fair point though, you can say no but provide some sort of indication as to what might make you say yes, or when you might say yes if other things are already in the pipeline.
I'm tipping Dib's team will try to make the Asiku fight after watching Asiku struggle with Dulog last night. Also, Dib is close to signing with a major promoter after obviously severing ties with GBP.
Dib is the only young kid to date that's stepped out overseas and challenged credible opps. I pick Dib to be too sharp for Asiku.Dib TKO.
