:nut.....lets keep you away from scoring then shall we

No just jokes......I know what your saying it was a very close fight...its a shame for all the drama because it took away from the fact that it was one hell of a fight :good

very true. I always maintain the best place to score a fight is ringside and ringside only. As for the other drama, the so-called intimidation of the judge did not work, he scored the very next round for Geale and as for the comments made about not having the judges made the IBO look better than others for sure!

I don't know how anyone can say that Choc will win the next one easy, I think if the fight proved anything it's that Geale is very close to him skill-wise and if he had known how to "close the show" he would have won the fight

You're right it does show that the ibo judges weren't for sale. Are there any rules on the number of ppl in a fighters corner/entourage in Oz? As for the rematch I can't see geale changing his style drastically as he seems quite an orthodox boxer (i haven't seen too much of him though), but mundine has a more flamboyant style and can probably adjust better to a different gameplan I reckon if he hurts/floors geale early in a round again he's not gonna let him off the hook this time.

I'm still intrigued by Khoder's running up onto the apron between rounds and telling Choc 'We don't have the judges tonight'.

It really grates on me that he doesn't sit in the front row and just watch the fights like odlh, frank warren etc etc

That kind of deal is under local commission jurisdiction and depends on how many they allow in their rules. As for G eale being hurt, I don't think he was - he was caught off-balance after making a very basic mistake in going straight back. He came back strongly for the remainder of the round

    Thanks for the replies.

So Phil, the IBO has set a date for which Mundine must give Geale a rematch at MW for the IBO title yes?

So Mundine must face Geale by the end of Feb or he will be stripped of the IBO MW title and Geale will get a shot at the vacant belt V another IBO rated fighter?

And the only way Mundine doesnt get stripped is if Geale and Mundine inform the IBO they have both agreed the fight at a later date that is past the IBO Feb deadline?

whats the point of having judges watching on tv on mute? It's not a very effective way of scoring the fight , other than being ringside.
