I think there is a very good chance for an upset here. Mitchell will be gassed in the later rounds and Timur will stop him.

I think it's a good fight, Timur will show if Mitchell is for real, or not. If Mitchell wins comfortably, he's ready to fight other contenders, if he struggles or loses he's not getting far in the division.

Mitchell is nothing but a big pile of bounding muscle.

    He is getting no where.

Mitchell will knock this fool out. Evan Quins is better fighter than Ibramigov and Mitchel knocked him out in first

I know many, many people who feel that Ibragimov won the fight. Most of the rounds were close enough to go either way on teh cards. I gave it Ibragimov as well, but I agree that the decision was no robbery.

I was actually suprised it was a split decission.
Mormeck won close fight, but I would have thought that home judges would have scored it Mormeck by wide margin.

Destruction no, but I think there's a very good chance he'll beat him.
This is a HUGE step up for Seth, and I think that's the thing that will be the reason this fight ends up in Timur's favour.
But he might get mugged again, he has to fight in the US :bart

You were probably swayed by the French television broadcasters. In between rounds, they only showed highlights of Mormeck hitting Ibragimov, and ignored the many shots Ibragimov landed.

Mormeck landed the bigger, flashier punches, and he pressed the fight. That's a legitimate argument for giving him many rounds. By contrast, Ibragimov landed more light punches, and late in the fight, he landed the more damaging blows (consistent rights to the ribs). That's the argument in Ibragimov's favor.

It was a hard fight to score.

You are wrong...they saw the fight. Many Internet boxing writers have come out and said that they thought Ibragimov won. Just do a google search. Also, you should watch the fight again...you'll see that you missed many things. By no means was Mormeck's edge clear; it was razor close.

Correct. Mormeck-Ibragimov was a close fight and I thought Mormeck edged it and deserved to win.

However, Mormeck didn't deserve to win his fight with Oquendo.

That's probably the best way to put it. Against Ibragimov, Mormeck deserved the benefit of the doubt. I've heard that the Oquendo fight was pure robbery, however.

I have not seen the Oquendo fight. Did you get a chance to see it? How did the referee treat Oquendo?

Oquendo always claims robbery after running away for twelve rounds and tapping jabs in other guys shoulder.

    Nothing new there

You live in Europe, you must have seen Oquendo-Mormeck on TV. What were your impressions of the fight? I missed it.
