It looks like Sultan has proven me wrong, and I certainly give him all the credit in the world for taking this fight. He has earned a new fan in me, win or lose. :good

It'll certainly be a tough test for Ibragimov, and then some, to face Klitschko's size, speed, power, and confidence.

Gotta admire Sultan for taking this fight when he could have priced himself out, held onto the four months was not enough time excuse, or made some excuse to weasel out of it, so he could safely go on to milk his title fighting Thompson, and the like.

But if you think about it, maybe Sultan realized that he would probably lose alot of support if he didn't take this fight, after stating he wanted to unify. Once Klit made a public statement about pushing for the fight with Ibrag, the boxing fans were then aware that it was time for Sultan to walk the walk, after talking the talk. Maybe Sultan's people read some of the internet forums that were slamming them when they said four months was not enough time; maybe they realized they had to take the fight.

I also would bet that this will probably be Sultan's biggest payday to date, and probably Wlad's too. I am not sure what kind of money they are talking about, but I bet it'll be the biggest payday for each fighter. In my opinion.


Anyway, whatever the reason, I give great credit to Sultan for taking the fight, as this is not about this one fight, its about unification, which is so important for the division.
