There are very big differences between Corrie Sanders and Sultan Ibragimov. For starters, the former was a bit taller, longer reach. Secondly, Sanders had no backwards gear. He was always moving forward or when he did step back it was to just let go a quick counter immediately after. Third, Sanders hit much harder, at least imo. Ibragimov has a little pop, to be sure. I'm just not sure he's gonna make much of a dent in Waldo. Furthermore he is way too defensive to beat Waldo in the first place. That tripping over his own feet and retreating in straight lines is gonna earn him a straight right down the pipe. I just don't think his footwork is as good as a Povetkin or Chagaev. And he isn't as cute with angles as Calvin Brock. Only chance I give Ibragimov is a first round blitz. Use his smaller size and speed to get inside and under fast. Do as much damage as you can in that first round. And it can't hurt to make the big man throw himself out.
