Sultan had a trainer who is a scum bucket, and couldnt teach a goat to eat a tin can. The guy wasnt even allowed to train fighters legally. Lewis was/ is not ever allowed in the corner during a professional fight.

Sultan has a real professional trainer now in Jeff Mayweather, that is the change in style.

I guess this guy wants the fight to happen so bad, that he has assumed it already on...........

But, I can't blame him for being enthusiastic about it. It will be the first unifying fight in over 8 years. And we were only recently given great news, then let down, after the Sultan Chagaev fight was called off, for whatever reason.

Here's hoping the Wlad Sultan fight gets signed, set, and actually happens.

......but as of now, its not a certainty, yet. I too, will believe Sultan will take the fight, only when I see that its official. I am not too confident in Sultan's willingness to put his WBO title up against someone like Wlad.

people's assessment of Sultan has declined some (amongst those who will admit to liking him in the first place)

People gave him more respect when gave up 50lbs and knocked out Goofi.

    Last two years he's:

Looked bad against Austin. Who went on to get iced against WK.
let about 8 months go by before he knocked out Mora in what I guess was a
    warm up.
fought conservatively but got the job done against Briggs.
fought Holyfield and looked rather dull doing it.

nothing too much to write home about in the last two years.

However, what is missing from the picture is that he is more rounded (but less exciting) fighter as of late. He still has the body attack, but now he's added some boxing skills to his game.

I think he will be Wlad's best defense so far. But I would not pick him to win.

Judging by your avatar your a Iggy fan, I would like to know how you see this fight playing out if in fact it does happen?

Assuming your an Iggy fan, what besides a chin what does Iggy have better than Wlad?

I am realistic, I favor Vlad. But I expect it to be a tougher fight than people expect. Sultan has a very good defense and good hand speed. For any fighter against Vlad you just hope to land one good shot, which can be very difficult though.

I agree, one punch could be all you need to turn a fight around against Wlad. Im wishing for Sultan, but highly doubt hes going to win. I see Wlad doing a serious number on Iggy, he better look for that big punch because I dont see him winning the decision.

Confusing and uncommon southpaw style or not, I pick Wlad by KO over Sultan. Assuming it happens, of course.
