gsp used to play hockey.... many canadian pro fighters played hockey as well... dude normally your cool but this time you do sound like an insecure teenage boy growing with the wrong hormones. and virus is actually pretty on point i asked my prof. at excercise science and he did tell me that you wont be able to go over 6 reps at 80% of 1rm on topic: ice skating is teh great, try going as fast as you can ice skating with hockey skates(these are surposely shorter blades and easier on your legs to push forward) from one side to another for about 8 times and you will feel your legs burning
nope hes wrong everyone is different. ask him if everyone has the exact same percentages for each lift.
How many reps do you think you can you do using 80% of your 1 rep max? Which lift has absolutely nothing to do with weight percentages used.
What the young bosnian means is that those percentages are probably a little different for each person, and I would agree with that not everybody is the same.
its a real ***** if you have pre-existing ankle problems. i know i cant skate cuz mine just wouldnt be stable enough
thank you and i probably could do around 5. but im saying that a champion power lifter would be muc diffrent then an endurance lifter
u sayin u could do that at ur 1 rep max cuz if so i seriously doubt it otherwise it wouldnt be ur 1 rep max
i would say running off the top of my head. but thinking about it, i bet that it is rougly the same on the legs. cardio work though, i would have to say running. with ice skating u don't always move ur legs, sometimes u just stand there and keep gliding. lol not too much is going on there except maybe using the muscles in ur legs to keep ur balance.
