Nobody even mentioned that this kid came back last month after nearly 21 months outside of the ring with a TKO2 win, and he's fighting again tonight on a card over in Michigan. He looked like a real prospect before he got into his troubles and his life took a down-ward spiral. But he's recovered now, back in the ring and evidently still in shape as he's fighting at the same weight. So, still only 21 and showing real potential before-hand, can he stay clear of trouble, rebuild his reputation as a talented prospect and make waves, or do you think that he'll struggle to regain his old form and progress?
He was starting to hit a bit of a wall with his boxing even before he ran into all the other problems. Let's hope he's matured as a result of his tribulations, stays focused, and can learn to avoid punches a little better, because the kid does have some talent.
Evidently the boy has the talent to make something of himself, as you say lets just hope he can stay focused and work on his flaws and concentrate on his boxing. I heard he'd moved from Detroit in an effort to stay out of trouble and concentrate on boxing, so hopefully he does just so.
