I'd give Fury about 4 rounds max vs Joshua

Yeah, its crazy, these are the same type of people who thought Foreman would run through Ali.

Power isn't everything. AJ may very well be able to beat Fury, but Fury deserves to be the favorite due to an incomparable resume right now, and due to a style that appears suited to neutralizing most of AJ's strengths. I'd need to be just a little more sure of Fury's chin before I was very confident on that, but that's all that's holding me back from being very confident.

I feel too much is made of Furys chin, his recuperating skills are overlooked, he's like Marquez in that he goes easy, but he gets up and fights back hard.

Joshua is a big mystery, Fury can go 12 without gassing, Joshuas never been past round 7 and that was a one sided fight.

How will Joshua do when he's in a competitive fight where the guys hitting him back and its round 6, 8, 10?

Fury is more proven and should be the sensible pick. But people always fall in love with the punchers (who always get schooled).

Have to agree there, everytime he has been put on his backside he has got straight back up and put them to sleep.

However, Josh hits ALOT harder then Cunningham and the truck driver that put him over.

It is a 50-50 fight but I would pick Josh to catch him at some point and end things.

The thing with Joshua he is as basic style wise as they come. Upright, rigid, doesn't jab well for his size but he has decent speed and excellent power.

He does need rounds before a Fury fight and deep down Hearn nows this. If they fought tomorrow imo Fury has more ways of winning than does Joshua.

Fury has way too many tools for Joshua.

If Fury gets out of the first 4-5 rounds, Joshua is in big trouble because Fury will be taking Joshua to the depths of hell and back.

it will be like Tyson/Holyfield 1.

    Good post.

It's not only the casuals but the media have fallen for the hype.

His jab is really bad for his size, or at least he barely uses it. That would really bite him against Fury, assuming Fury can make it into the mid rounds.

To be fair to Joshua he hasn't had to get out of 1st gear against the opponents he's been facing but if he is to be able to hang with and beat the likes of Fury or Klitschko even this depleted version he has to work on his jab.

As he's fighting at the moment I can certainly see Fury picking him off and tying him up.

Too many times throughout boxing history we've seen the big bad power puncher getting exposed by the smarter boxer.

Fury also has the size.to compliment Joshua's and Fury can fight dirty if need be.

If they fought, he would be taking Joshua to the deepest part of the ocean. At the moment, we don't know if Joshua can swim.

Bloody hell he beat Martins not Muhammed Ali. Tyson faced a big quick athletic big punching guy last time and schooled him. This fight needs to be built up with AJ defending against top 10 fighters of different styles.

Why should we view Joshua's easy ko over Chuck Martin any more seriously than David Price doing an even quicker ko vs Audley Harrison? Tell me.
