I know somewhere after all this **** is over.

He's going to visit these boards among many others and read that he was a disgrace. Pathetic. A coward. A bum. A shitty fighter. 2nd rate fighter and a 3rd rate Ghanian. He'll read about his should've-been-future as a soccer player...Damn. I almost feel a little ****ed up for the guy. I agree whole-heartedly with most of these statements, but maybe we should give the guy a break. He's just a simple guy at the end of the day. He has a little girl that I'm sure he thought about while he was in there and didn't want her to watch her father get KTFO. I think if anything he showed us he's more human than warrior.

I can only imagine what's going on in his mind as he returns home with his head down and tail between his legs...

So I guess the point of this rant was to ask the question...seeing as how Clottey is a father that loves his daughter...

Is it better to put it all on the line and possibly suffer a beating or horrific KO...or put on a sorry display like the one he did, but keep your face and health intact...possibly spare the pain of your daughter watching you hurt, but give her the humility of having a father with the bravery of a mouse...it's a double edged sword really. And one that kept Clottey in the walls of his arms...

Clottey has nothing to be ashamed about.
    Neither did hatton or oscar.

    They lost to a machine.
    A boxing punching machine.

Clottey did his part. He was never supposed to do anything in this fight. He was merely an opponent. I'm sure Arum paid him well.

    Just ****in' with ya :yep:good

I'd argue that Cotto's done the best job so far out of the past 4 opponents.

Regardless of that. People are going to critique this fight...and he's going to get heaps of **** for it. **** that would seem pretty hard to live down.

I guess he can go home and say "Hey guys...at least i was still standing." :conf

Why would he give a rat's ass what the people on the internet say?

He just made millions of dollars, and was never hurt. That's his way of fighting.
Yes he should of opened up more, and he didn't go out like a warrior.

But how many people on the internet box for championships and tons of money...

hey idiot have you ever seen Josh Clottey fight before? That's the way he's always fought. What the **** is he going to do getting 1200 punches thrown at him?

Yeah he could have been more active, and guess what he still would have lost. Each time he stepped it up in the fight, Manny stepped it up even harder .

And did you happen to see Manny's face after the fight? He had wilts under both of his eyes. He got hit with nasty uppercuts and straight right hands. Watch the fight again crackpot.

Did you not watch Road to Dallas?

The ****in' guy goes on these boards on a daily basis. "It doesn't hurt me. It makes me stronger. It means I have to prove them wrong."

Now he has to read that he's a shitty fighter and all this other ****.:-:)lol:

    ****ed up :conf
