Anyway I don't see Eubanks growing some cojones overnight and fight one of these tough guys. They even refused top 160 pounders like Jacobs, BJS rematch and Golovkin.atsch
I didn't say he isn't worthy. I said I'm not bothered about it. CEJ has a top ten ranking. Stevens does not. CEJ doesn't really gain that much from beating him. Lee, Lemiuex, Quillin, N'Dam, Khurtsidze. All of these are currently top ten ranked opponents and fights that CEJ can gain something from. Ryder and Langford would be legitimate British defences and would enable him to gain the Lonsdale belt outright which he gains from. Bursak or Chudinov would probably enable him to pick up the EBU MW belt which he gains from. Stevens is someone with no ranking and nothing to offer barring name value due to his fight with triple G. Despite the fact that he would likely be the best victory on his resume to date.
Both Stevens and Lemieux v CEJ would be exciting fights. I'd pick Lemieux over CEJ but I think CEJ beats Stevens.
Yeah it's probably his best victory so far, that or Blackwell. I'm just saying if he isn't gonna face a ranked opponent it should be a British defence or European title fight.
