I'd like to see Gavin/Vassell fight sometime this year....

i think your a great fighter but your being poorly matched. mutley is a step sideways which is why i doubt a fight with vassell or that level is anywhere near close.

plenty of fighters call other fighters out. We know Theophane is fighting June/July on the Chisora vs Fury card. Frankie you should call him out. Hennesey would love to have a guy that sells 1000+ tickets on his show.

 

This would be a quality fight. Vassell is a lot better than people say.

 

I actually think Lee Purdy would be a decent opponent in the future.

As long as Frankie Gavin keeps Vassell in the centre of the ring or keeps Vassell's on the back foot it will be a shut out, but if Vassell forces Gavin on the ropes it could be hard work, Gavin is an intelligent Fighter so I am sure he will do what is reqiured. I don't either of them have the power to take each other out unless it is to the body, both are very good to the body. Interesting fight, both good lads.

You seem to be obsessed with punch power Frankie, I was complementing you, I said you had power to the body, because you seem to hurt people to the body more and Vassell is a very good fighter, so for me to say you would totaly outbox him, that is a big complement, I also said you was a very intelligent fighter. When you first fought in the pros you said yourself "you are not a big puncher but that you are fast", that was a very honest assessment, you have improved your punch power at your stable, but in your last fight you completely Domminated Lomax and hit him at will, but in the end you wore him down, if you had been a big puncher you would of got him out of there early. Nothing wrong with that, a great performance. Hagler was not considered a big puncher, but wore his opponenents down too.
