Personally I think these 2 could end up having a classic war...Khan from what I hear beat him as an amateur there is a good story line for revenge right there ..Both men have suffered devastating losses in their young careers...Why not @ 140 this could be a Delahoya vs. Vargas type of match .Is anyone else interested in this in the next few yrs if they stay the course??

Both these guys have questionable chins, and Ortiz has a questionable heart. They are both very weary of getting knocked out. I don't see them getting into a war with eachother.

They are still young the only way to erase all that is continue to win ..If that happens they could be on a collision course ..Im looking forward to see who develops into the next big star under 140 and these guys despite their loses could turn it around and the be the ones that electrify the division again .

They fought in the amateurs, Khan won by 2nd round stoppage, i don't think from a Golden Boy perspective this fight makes much sense to make right now.

Like I said they still have some developing ..That fight is made only if Ortiz continues on a winning streak ..

yeah i think i would. i dont think ortiz would land any significant punches neither. it seems he doesnt like to punch with his opponent so khans speed would be too much. ortiz loses heart and gets stopped somewhere from the 8th onwards.

GBP is smart if this fight will be made they are going to wait and make it at the right time. Amir Khan and Victor Ortiz both have cant miss talent, both can box and have good power. Khan is 23 and Ortiz 23 as well I think the best bet is to allow both to move further away from their earlier disasters. Ive heard rumors of a Khan-Presscott rematch and id love to see Ortiz-Maidana II if Ortiz decides to mix it up instead of brawling non stop like he did last May its his fight IMO. One is a Muslim from the UK and the other a Mexican-American if this fight is built properly it could draw huge numbers in 3-4 years.

Yep but it won't happen unless Freddie sees an advantage, he would rather make katsidis come up in weight

Well GB won't want it for quite some time. I don't know how long Roach will hold out before letting Khan in with a real puncher either. Khan is a much better boxer, but it would be interesting with his chin issues. He might make Ortiz quit though, by clinical breakdown.
