"He lost his last fight by knockout and if that had been me, maybe I wouldn’t have wanted to go out like that either. But obviously I can’t say, because I’ve never been in that position. Haha. He had to get that one in.
I bet Calzaghe wasnt saying this about Roy Jones who should have retired long before he fought Calzaghe. The knockouts Jones suffered against Glen Johnson and Antonio Tarver were just as bad as the knockout Ricky Hatton suffered against Pacquiao.
Well of course he wasn't. He not going to say it about his future opponent in a fight which both men are trying to promote.
What I mean is Calzaghe is a hypocrite saying Hatton should retire when he was trying to big up Roy Jones when they were promoting the fight when we all know Jones was finished.
Yeah well he would, the guy avoided challenges his whole career. TBH I think if Hatton wants one more, he should go for it. He got badly ****ed in the ass by Pac, but he might still have enough to put Khan (who he should target IMO) away. Not sure about Marquez or Bradley though, he aint beating them. Khan makes the most sense. Big money, big domestic hyped fight. Passing of torch kinda fight, could be somehat defining of their legacies domestically. And both probably think they could take each other at this point...
