In honesty i'd pick Kessler to beat Pavlik and Lacy ..

The Calzaghe win was more than impressive, Pavlik and Lacy have a punchers chance while Kessler can both box very well and punch like a monster.. This is honest facts, Jermaine was clipped by a great shot and TKO'd.. Lacy has again only a basic left hook and little else.. Kessler is a solid boxer puncher who is 3 times both men technically..

 

Lacy would get F'd up by Pavlik.

Really? Based on what? The fact that Lacy has been down once in his career and that was a stumble against Calzaghe rather than a true KD, or perhaps thw fact that Pavlik has been dropped by a nobody and almost KO'd by Taylor who is not even close to hitting like Lacy does.

What exactly makes you think this is an easy Pavlik win? Lacy was battered by Calzaghe, but has KOd guys who had never even been dropped before and who were world champions. Pavlik is a good puncher at middleweight, but he does not hit as hard as Lacy or have as good a chin as Lacy.

A lot of people here do nothing but discredit Pavlik only to pump up Calzaghe. Calzaghe doesn't need any more pumping up, everybody can see that he's a great fighter. Jeff Lacy is still trying to get his confidence back and it might take a while, wait at least for the Manfredo fight before you make predictions. Pavlik will give Lacy problems if they fight because he's almost five inches taller and has a powerfull jab. Lacy will have to take a lot of punches to land his. According to you so called experts, Pavlik gets knocked out by everybody that Calzaghe ever fought. It's not that easy, you are ignoring Pavlik's strenghts. What the heck are you talking about? "Taylor who couldn't punch through candyfloss", that's nonsense. Ask his opponents if he can punch. Pavlik has a good chin otherwise he wouldn't have been standing after the Miranda fight and he himself said that Taylor hits like a mule. Lacy will take a lot more punches because he doesn't come in behind his jab.
