i'd pick Lacy to beat Pavlik also...Pavlik is no Calzaghe, he doesn't have the speed or movement to avoid Lacy for 12 rds...Lacy could impose his will on Pavlik...

Yeah sure Lacy's gonna go far again with a bad shoulder, a damaged psyche, and wide punches that aren't even that powerful. Alot of people (including myself) should have been convinced that Lacy was nothing special after the way he struggled with Sheika. We all got caught up in the hype and it reached a crescendo when he KO'd Robin Reid. So convincing was Lacy's victory and his menace that we totally overlooked the fact that Reid was well past his sell-by date. We all got caught up in the hype. Hook, line and sinker. I like Lacy and I always have but his career is all but over. He climbed the mountain, got pushed off, and hasn't stopped falling. I'd pick alot of guys to beat him at this point and Pavlik is one of them.

Its may be a moot point because Lacy is never going to be the same agian. His confidence was already shot, and then, if I am not mistaken, he tore his roator cuff? That has ended carreers, such as Buddy Mcguirts.

Lacy has a long way to climb back up.

As for Pavlik, lets see his next fight. Its an old but true cliche that winning a belt makes you better. Some guys, like Toney, get worlds better, other not much.

We all know, now, that Lacy is limited but there were plenty bigging him up before the JC fight. I hope Lacy can make a decent comeback. I know boxing is the hardest game but at the same time it needs good guys too, like Lacy. Good luck to the guy, he needs it and deserves it.
