He could take Klitschko's power; he could take Schmeling's. I wasn't assuming Joshua wouid run through Schmeling, I was assuming he'd fight like he did vs Ruiz and Pulev, and try and blend those frightful combos with the movement he showed.

I don't buy that Joshua is a bum because he lost to Usyk.

It's not always that easy though. He took old Wladimir power reasonably well, but don't fortget that Klitschko also hurt him. He also got stopped by Ruiz and hurt by Usyk, I don't think it's unreasonable to believe that Schmeling could hurt or even drop him.
It's easier to do that against slower and less skilled fighters though, he couldn't do that against Usyk and I'm not sure if he'd be able to do that against Max.
Neither do I, trust me - I laugh at people who thinks that Joshua got "exposed" or something. I'm just higher on Schmeling than most people here, that's all.

Usyk is a Normal Size Heavyweight, so he is a Contender & Fringe Contender throughout Heavyweight History.

But in order to be a Champion is some of the Best Era's over the years, he'd need a couple of dozen Great & Top Names on his resume first, otherwise he'd not even get a Shot, nevermind win the Title.

But yes, he IS There as a HW Contender for the most part, no doubt!

Usyk is a hell of a fighter today. And it’s a great pity about the AJ outburst at the end because it forever detracts from what a great performance he put up. Somebody should have turned off the mic.

But in perspective of all time greats yes Usyk can compete with Schmeling…but let’s wait for his retirement to see if we really know if he could beat max. We are living in diluted times.

It’s not like we saw the fighters Joshua beat win against leading men to earn a title shot.
In Schmeling day a legit champion faced legit challengers who had beat legit contenders.

Even with Fury regarded as the best..it’s based almost entirely on wins over wilder and Klitchsko. Which as good as that sounds isn’t quite the same thing.

    Joshua is good boxer
but no way he be unify champion in a real competition era

    Charles Martin
41 age defeated already rusty Klitschko
    Joseph Parker
this is how to pick up 3 world champion belts heavyweight? that is weak oppositions for the achievement

is possible most overrated overhype boxer of all history

Schmeling never stopped a fighter of AJ`s size, power or reach, AJ would have stopped him if he landed the same shots on Max that he landed on Usyk.

True, but he stopped better and more durable fighters than Joshua. I don't think it's very controversial to say that Max was a bit more powerful puncher than Usyk.
How can you know that? Max had a sturdy chin himself.

You weren’t crazy McGrain. He’d beat way more ‘legendary’ fighters than people on this forum would care to admit.
