Usyk has had 21 fights. Louis was in his 33rd fight against Braddock and his 40th against Galento. How is Usyk going to look at the 33 and 40 fight mark?

The majority of cards i have seen don't have a Usyk clean sweep of rounds either.

Holmes got dropped at his peak by Shavers and Snipes, i'm sure he'd do quite fine against Usyk.

I never given Usyk advantage over Louis - and the hint of Usyk being vulnerable to the body is nothing new.

However, at 36 yo, Usyk is obviously no longer in his prime.

Also, due to infrequent fighting, whatever Usyk’s post prime “best” is in all possibility, I doubt it was on display vs Dubois.

From what I’ve seen, Dubois’ punch was technically a low blow - and it might’ve had some of the understood, real effects of a low blow - the very undesired effects that explain why the area in question is deemed an illegal target.

That particular illegal target area isn’t confined to or only cover direct hits to the nuts.

Now there are shouts that Fury might be interested in fighting Usyk - after faithfully adhering to the Mayweather “playbook” for avoidance until an otherwise dangerous opponent has sufficiently aged/deteriorated, has shown vulnerabilities to greater effect and tripped up in some measure.

Some believe that the Dubois fight has proven that Fury has the measure of Usyk. The same Fury that has avoided Usyk, same Fury that has sat on his *** while shooting his mouth off and same Fury who has only recently mustered himself to get back in the ring against an MMA fighter with NO boxing experience.

Funny how people build Tyson’s legend when he isn’t materially building it himself. Let everyone else fight it out while stagnate Fury’s own stocks inexplicably rise.

No bones about it, however small Ngannou’s chances, I would love to see him sit Fury down and out.

Because he had a great amateur career, he doesn't need to fight jobbers.
Usyk would beat both Galento and Braddock on the same night after getting off his couch.

Louis was KTFO by LHW Marciano, lol.

Regardless of number of fights I don't think Usyk is any longer in his prime. His ability to still compete at a high level doesn't mean he is at his peak.

So when was Usyk's prime end? What do you see now that you didn't see prior? You claimed he swept every single round today, what did you see that stands out in such a fight?

It's pretty funny, usually after a modern boxer, particularly a heavyweight we usually see a plethora of threads about them beating this older timer or that one and dream fight matchups but today......radio silence.

Great amateur careers mean bugger all in the pro's.

And Louis battered the living christ out of both.

Marciano never fought at light heavyweight in his entire pro career.

Louis was 17 years deep in the pro's with 68 fights behind him when he fought Marciano. Digging that up out of the graveyard as something meaningful is beyond bizarre.

They do. Louis fought jobbers often, not sure why they should count.
5 foot 10 and 184 lbs Marciano is no bigger than Dmitri Bivol.

So pro fighters shouldn't be counted on a pro record? Got it.

You labelled Marciano a light heavyweight, he never fought at light heavyweight to state the obvious.

Marciano weighed over 184 in his title winning effort and every single title defense. His last four defenses saw him not come in under 187. Where can i find fighting weights for Bivol above 184?

He'd pop Bivol like a balloon.

He weighed 184 when he smashed glass jaw old Louis.
Bivol would cut his face to ribbons with just his jab.

Ok, lets see some conclusive proof of Bivol going into the ring at 184 or above.

    Sure he would :eusa_dance:

He is on video claiming to weigh 183 in the ring.
Marciano would not qualify as sparring partner these days.

183 isn't 184 is it? The question was extremely clear.

Yeah he'd be holding the spit bucket for monsters like Bivol

1 lbs is not great at all. Bivol cuts down to LHW, he could easily make 184 without having to hit a limit.
    Correct.

And Marciano was training down to weights like 187 as champ. He was likely closer to 190 in the ring.

Bivol's only claim to fame is beating a guy that started as a junior welterweight and was making 147 for the first FIVE years of his career.....a guy who could still make 154 pounds at the ELEVEN year mark of his career. He wasn't solidly favored to lose. So much for all the size queening.

Yes Marciano would be quivering in his grave at the thought of the great 183 pound Bivol.

No problem. Bivol humiliated Zurdo who is as big as Joe Louis.
