ward has balls but he is smart with them. he wont make it an all out war. he wil use his brain and make it more technical and be able to pick off froch bit by bit.

I brought this **** up because of these upcomers quitting for simple cuts. Those ****ers should at least see these kind of fights so know what little pussies they are.

Headbutts should be complained as it is illegal in the first place. Had Ward complained about punches? ;)

Not many fighters are actually willing to die in the ring. Even Gatti didn't protest when McGirt stopped the fight against Mayweather, a guy not known for his punching power.

Sad to say he was outboxed. A case of a no win situation for him. These kind of fighters like to trade. Would eat combinations as long as he could land a couple. Sadly he wasn't able to land back at mayweather. If McGirt had not stop it, would you think Gatti would quit on his own though?

That's why he had a guy like McGirt, so he wouldn't have to make that sort of decision. However, it was pretty clear he didn't want to continue. In no way am I knocking him. I'm just pointing out how absurd this whole notion of fighters claiming they're willing to die in the ring. Hell, Gatti claimed he was willing to die before that fight. Who the hell wants to die in the ring? You'd have to have rocks for brains to want that.

Gatti doesn't want to die in the ring, but he's willing to do it. That night against Floyd was just too one-sided. If he had even a glimmer of hope to win the fight, he would have put his life on the line to go for it.

that's just the kind of warrior he was.

it's not like Floyd had the kind of pop to put Gatti's life in danger anyways. Gatti was just being embarassed.

Maybe he meant rather die than to quit? I didn't see all of his fights though.. Did he ever quit?

IMO Froch can show up with 7 Different game plans, and Ward will adjust and win anyway!

A lot of idiots say statements like that and most would quit under the right circumstances. Very few fighters give me the impression they would die in the ring by their actions not by their words. Andre Ward is not one of them.
