That should really be the end of any discussion about RJJ's resume. Say what you want about being green or weight-drained, he blew them out of the water.

I rate him highly and loved watching him fight in his prime. There is no question that he was physically very gifted and was capable of beating all comers bitd. However, I do support the notion that he was reluctant to get in the ring with Benn and others but imo we will never know the reasons why.. One thing for sure is that Benn was desperate to fight Jones after the fight with McClellan, Jones had already beaten a green hopkins and Toney and instead decided for whatever reason that he didn't or couldn't make a fight with Benn a reality. Instead he went on to bully Vinny Pazienza and smash Tony Thornton before deciding Super middle was no longer for him.

Don't get me wrong, I am not saying Benn would have beat him but as a fan I just wanted to see who was the best super middle weight in the world. Roy had other ideas.

So how many champions you beat is the stand-out measure of greatness huh?

    Talk about IDIOT POST.

How do you rate Brian Nielsen then? I guess you have him as a top 5 ATG at HW.

****ing ignorant. Yeah, Nielsen is top 5. Moron. The lame attempt at a comparison wasn't funny.

when you girls have finished calling each other names over the net, this is the only way you can rank anyone's achievements in their career...

    who they fought and when.

wish i could return here sometimes and not have people throw handbags at each ohter because they are insecure and have to react... for once.....

Still no answer to the TS question. You can go through every fighters resume and say who they didn't fight but Jones has faced more champs.

Who cares about paperholders. How many actual P4P-ers Roy defeated?

We can't blame Floyd for not fighting a p4p fighter that wasn't in his division. He beat some solid fighters in each weight class. He beat current title holders, former title holders and he beat mandatory opponents who went on to earn a title of some sort.

counterpoint: in today's boxing world, you can be a "champ" and a bum at the same time

second counterpoint: Jones was a cheat
