It was a good performance, had the chance to display his boxing skills a bit more tonight and he boxed well. I'm still not fully convinced though that he's the next big middleweight.

Me either, but its easy to forget he hasnt even had 10 pro fights yet.

Personally I saw him having some patience, and avoiding hubris. The ability to not get overexcited, pace yourself , not smother your own work - thats something I dont think you can teach. If you could, all these high profile guys with HoF trainers wouldnt fall into that trap so regularly.

Even Golovkin had a few guys go rounds with him early in his career.

Khytrov might not be the next big thing, but his stock went up with me in the fight.

Khytrov will be fighting on ShoBox The Next Generation Friday against Aaron Coley who's undefeated.

His defense is too flawed. He will get beaten by a more polished fighter.

He's decent and definitely has a lot to work on but it's still early and I agree with much you posted.

    Where have you been anyway?

Well Khytrov wasn't able to stop Aaron Coley, but before anybody freaks out and starts saying his power is overrated even Gennady Golovkin had 2 fights to go the distance early in his career, Boaudla and Amar Amari. And Amari had a ton of losses whereas Coley was undefeated, Coley is an unknown commodity, who knows how good he could really be. Obviously he has a great chin.

From what I saw there, Aaron Coley looks like a very good young fighter.
