    I think it's pretty absurd to compare Khytrov's power to GGG's

    I've seen pretty much all of his fights, and it's pretty obvious hes a pressure guy that'll wear you down and stop you late due to accumulative damage. He doesn't have much one punch KO power.

    I'm not going to hold that performance against him (because he couldn't get the KO) I thought he boxed pretty well (better than some of his earlier fights) but the other guy was not really interested in anything but making the distance and he could take a good shot to boot.

    Coley looked pretty good early on especially seeing as he hasn't been in with anyone like Khyrtrov. He can also take a good punch and I feel the Lion needed this fight it showed that he still has a lot to work on. Coley was doing anything to survive though including the constant falling to the ground which wasn't always aided by Khyrtrov. Hopefully both fighters are better because of this fight. Stamina is definitely something they both need to work on.

    I had no real issue with Khytrov going the distance, he has gotten some valuable experience over his last two fights. I am still not crazy about the trainers Khytrov is working with, Stark & Rozier.


    I also had no idea Serge was a mod...

    Why are people overreacting about Khytrov? He got outboxed early on adjusted and pretty much did what he usually does against his opponents, break them down over the course of the fight and take them out or outwork them in the later rounds. He's not a master boxer, he's got okay skills but really nothing impressive. He's not ever going to be another Golovkin or a Kovalev... He just doesn't have the talent in terms of not only skills/technique and intelligence but his power ain't as great also.

    However, this performance wasn't really bad or anything like that, it didn't say anything about Khytrov we already didn't know or expose any weaknesses that haven't been seen earlier in his career.

    Let's just say though Khytrov is still a young fighter and has lots to learn.

    Because they're being over-reactive jackasses as usual, and of course he's Eastern European so they go in double hard on him. He was sick he struggles for a few rounds figured Brinson out by Round 3 became effective late in round 4 and dominated from round 5 to the brutal stoppage, only on this severely re****ed site can someone close the show in spectacular fashion by knocking a guy's head nearly ala Froch vs Bute and be considered a hypejob.:-(
