Interesting. Being that they share the same trainer, do Danny and Ievgen spar much? Also with Curtis?

I am pretty certain those two guys that train Khytrov also train Curtis Stevens. Might want to upgarade sooner than later.

    Sparring:
Who gets the better of who, in sparring, does Khytrov get the better of the three guys? I see Danny able to outbox Khytrov for a while, before Khytrov eventually takes over, presses the attack enough to eventually stop Jacobs...but I can't say that with great confidence until Khytrov adjusts fully.

    Ivan Golub:
Ivan Golub will make a good professional. I think he has the potential within him to become even better than 'good'. It's going to take work but it's definitely achievable - just my humble opinion this is. It's an exciting addition to your stable of fighters, he's going to have an exciting career. Fan friendly too.

    Daydream:
All the middleweight division needs now is WSB king Sergey Derevyanchenko and Dmitry Mytrofanov.
If Artem Chebotarev turns pro as well (he'll make a v.decent pro)), the future of middleweight is going to be brutal.

Sergey Derevyanchenko turned me down. Hope I get him soon

    Technically Guru Sergey is

Ievgen big tests are the Danny and Marcus fighters. He is getting better fighting counter punchers and movers. Still lots of work and fun to be had.

Does Sergey want to go pro? He's not getting any younger at age 29. With Sergey, it's best to keep trying definitely! He looks the goods. He's going to have to fast track his career - if he goes 12 rounds 3 times in the pros, I see him going for world title fights.

Are you judging that from the fight against Quigley in 2013? Chebotarev just couldn't get going in that fight, he outboxed someone who is laughably difficult to outbox in Dmitry Mytrofanov a few weeks ago at WSB. Chebotarev has raw power too. Having said that, I do share a similar view...but I also share the same view regarding Khytrov.

the reason he couldnt get going is because he was being outboxed, and the Mytrofanov fight was very close

Artem was incredibly sloppy in the Quigley fight and that wasn't all due to Quigley alone. Pro's are scheduled 12 rounders too + tapes are studied + more preperation so there's more certainty there (hence why amateurs tend to have a lot of losses unless they're called Lomachenko). Ironically, what overwhelmed Artem somewhat in the Quigley fight is something that Quigley would not be able to do to the same extent across a 12 rounder. I really hope Quigley can be as good of a pro as he was an amateur, a few thinks he'd have to tweak.

Mytrofanov always brings a good fight. I prefer Khytrov though to Myt.

Chebotarov was walking onto shots and got beaten comfortably, and most amateurs have a lot of losses on there record because they cant choose who they fight and have to fight the best, preperation does play a part though. Quigley also has a win over Khytrov, i think Quigley would make a good pro

I don't doubt that he was walking into shots pretty easily, which explains why he lost the fight. I love the fact that they have to fight the best and can't choose. I like amateurs more than pros personally. Also, they have to fight a day later sometimes in tournaments and they can end up tired for the latter stages unfortunately.

I watched the Quigley-Khytrov fight 3 times, had Khytrov winning every time. I think Quigley will make a good pro too, a project to get him to adapt well but I actually think he's a potential future champion.

If they are turning him down, are you going to make him fight slightly tougher opposition? A genuine tough guy like Julius Kennedy often fought and lost close decisons against boxers who would be considered a step up i.e Aaron Pryor Jr, Harry Joe Yorgey, Scott Sigmon and Jessie Nicklow.
Boxers who have shown Julius' level of guts by fighting guys who are more established, would be a good place to look for Ievgen's next fight, and should provide him good challenges too.
