you ****in right! Hater had been praying for his downfall for so long that they are now more happy with where his career is than a *** with two assholes would be. Roy is the best ever in my eyes.

Better to get KO'd by Lewis then to have been KO'd by Tarver. Jones should've stayed at heavy, let his body completely get used to the weight, as he looked good in there. Fight Chris Byrd the fight Lewis... or go right for a fight with Lewis. Even if he would've got KO'd, it would've been a middleweight against a super heavy, basically. He would've got more praise and it would've meant more for his legacy instead of being dictated by Tarvers terms and going back down, from the muscle he put on, only to get KO'D and then continually suffer embarrassing KO loses.

If RJ never went HW, he would be aging just as well as Hopkins. What people fail to realize is he gained 30 pounds of MUSCLE to become a HW. Had he stayed at HW he would probably have ended on a better note, but losing that much pure muscle to get back down to 175 takes a permanent tole on your body. Unlike fat you can't burn muscle weight off and still be in great shape eventhough you may look it. Losing that much muscle weakens your entire body. RJ's chin is not his problem and you'd be stupid to think so. It's his legs.

He did not win THE heavyweight title like Fitzsimmons did he won a trinket paper belt from John Ruiz.

Lennox Lewis was THE Heavyweight Champion of the world not Ruiz.

I've never been a big RJJ fan, but you got to give it up for the guy. In his prime, he was the dogs bullocks.

It's a classic case of one tool states an opinion a few times and then a load of no opinion of their own ****ers jump on the bandwagon to parrot it as the truth.

It doesn't mean it was not a great thing, paper belt or not, Roy was the first to do it in 100 years. He was outweighed by nearly 30 pounds, he looked tiny in the ring compared to Ruiz, who has some solid heavyweight wins.

I don't think he saw the Jones Ruiz fight. He tried to tell me once that the right hand Ruiz landed on Jones' jaw in the first round actually landed on Jones' chest.:patsch

Because surely his argument about Roy always having a glass jaw would be ruined if the former jr middleweight took a power shot to the face from a heavyweight.:deal

don't waste your time in this thread homebrand.

RJJ ballsuckers cannot handle the facts, they are brainwashed and delusional. Jones and HBO pulled the wool over an entire nations eyes by knocking out civil servants and sanitation workers until he got exposed, and then all you here is a million lame excuses.

if roy hadn't have ducked nunn, mcclellan, benn, eubank, calzaghe, and DM then he would have been exposed much earlier.

some all time greats dont have great chins, but all of them have heart, and the ability to adapt to a plan B when the going got tough. roy didn't, he just collapsed like a pack of cards.
