If 15 Rd. still existed. Who'd be Champ's right now?

In the heavyweight division it would be hard to say, more than likely it will be the better conditioned men. The Klitschko's have never gone past 12 but they are conditioned.

15 rds changes the whole strategy of a fight from the 1st to the 15th

 

I think both Pac and Floyd could easily go 15... Chad Dawson could too.. The Klits are pretty well conditioned, but Vitali is getting up there in age.. Most of your better fighters in the really light divisions could do it.. Sergio Martinez is one of the best conditioned fighters in the sport and keep up a respectable workrate for a whole fight.

It wouldn't make that much difference because the fittest/best paced fighters come out on top in the 12round era too. Mayweather, Pacquaio, Wlad, Vitali all do 15 rounds no problem. It may change the odd fight, but only a small percentage

 

As everybody knows, I stopped watching boxing when the 12 round limit was imposed. What really turned me off was Rosario-Ramirez I. There is no question that Rosario would have lost had that one been scheduled for the championship distance. Ed was a good fighter, but he's in the IBHOF exclusively because the championship distance was abolished.

 

I think you would still have the same champions you have today, particulary among the top p4p guys, although it might have an effect on guys who are weight drained and hold a title the 15 round distance could be more taxing on them. Also in your superfights those extra three rounds could make a world of difference and favor guys who rely on wearing guys down in their fights. It would be alot harder for guys to coast like they do at times now thats for sure.

 

Fighters would approach things differently if they knew they were training for three extra rounds.

taking the outcome of 12 round fights and adding an imaginary 3 rounds onto them is a highly flawed way of figuring things out.It just doesn't work like that.

Funny, I felt Edwin would've lost to Howard Davis if the 15 round title limit was in effect.

 

Just a thought, but title fights should ALWAYS be for 15 rounds. As it's been observed, any less and it's a *******ization, any more, and it becomes a test of endurance often at the expense of skill. 15 rounds was the perfect, ideal limit for championship fights.
