If 41 year old, injury laden Vitali retires after Charr, he's ducking?

Is he ducking? No. He already spent his entire career ducking the best available contenders. He has no resume. None.

Wlad is the one who will be remembered many years from now. Vitali is a paper champion.

Don't bother using mental illnesses as insults if you plan on misspelling multiple words in just one sentence.

The answer is in the question

Lewis fought and beat Vitali before he retired

Vitali is going to retire without even fighting Haye

The question should be If Vitali only beats Charr once and retires, did Charr retire Vitali?

Retiring from the sport due to injuries = ducking?

It's not like he retired for a year waiting for Rahman to lose, and not like Rahman was much anyway.

That is clearly not a duck. Ducking is what Povetkin has been doing all these years.

If Charr loses to Vitali on cuts after outboxing him, while CLEARLY ahead on the scorecards, and Vitali calls it a day (3 years older than when Lennox did), then yes, Charr would have retired Vitali.

Please don't forget that Lennox promised a rematch, claimed his age was no issue, and kept promising Vitali a rematch for a YEAR before retiring.

    Vitali fears the Hayemaker.

Four times the fight was called of either he didnt want to fight anymore period and run for office or he was falling apart. Rahman was a club fighter who got lucky once but Vitali agreeded on more once to fight him and backed out how is that different then Lewis saying he would give him a rematch and then retiring and stating retired. Poventkin is a coward thats not a duck hell thats a goose

So Vitali is not allowed to get old, have a tough fight and then show the guile and tenacity to still find a way to win?

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

But Manuel Charr has, yeah? :huh

Yeah, you 'earn' a shot against the number two guy in the division.

Klitschko land, where losing to the champion means that you can't fight the number 2 guy in the division.

Hmm Rahaman Club fighter - Well he beat Corrie Sanders, something Vlad couldnt do and he Beat a young Sanders faster than Vitali could beat an old semi retired Sanders.
He also beat an out of shape Lennox Lewis - something Vitali couldnt do.

No wonder Vitali retired instead of fighting him

Has a real Klitschko fan i want to see Haye vs Vitali because i know this is what the sport and the division needs another high profile fight, and if Haye wins that sets up a rematch and a chance to have one champion and if Vitali wins he retire's on a high note its a win win

That's boxing fan logic. Makes sense.

Certain people don't want to see the fight because for some reason they get personally offended if someone trash talks either brother, so they get real bitter and say the fight shouldn't happen.
