If __________ was fighting right now, would he be more popular than Pac & Floyd?

Set there any past ATG and responses would be yes.

Much more popular around the world.

    Reason 1: the weightclass.
    Reason 2: the excitement.

Most people from my country don't know Pac, and even less know Floyd... Everybody (even my granny) knew who Tyson was back in the day.

    which country?

So it would be the mixture of Weight Class and Excitement?

It has to be both...more so than it just being an American HW?

Mike Tyson was household name (not just amongst the boxing fans). In my part of Canada casual fans know PBF and Pac but have a hard time naming the Heavyweight champ.

My take is that the Bros are popular in eastern europe, Germany and a certain segment of the population that will soon be on this thread dumping on every fighter you mentioned.

Don't know how many of you are old enough to have seen him in his prime, but during the ring walks you weren't waiting to watch a boxing match, you were waiting to witness pure carnage.

if the bros fought like tyson they would eclipse both pac and pbf combined . . . it has zero to do with nationality and for those who say otherwise, their race would be definitely be a selling feature in North America.

The Netherlands... Not much boxingfans here.
The Heavyweight division has always been the division of kings, and to have a really exciting HW champ completes the picture.

    , good to know.

One of the things I liked about Ali is that he traveled outside of the country.

Tyson was actually set to go on a World Tour under Cayton but King took over and that was the end of that.

Eh. It's better for the sport for the Champion to travel abroad.
