it seriously depends on which martial art you are talking about. they are so very, completely different from one another. chris john considers his wushu training essential to his skill as a boxer, but, something like taekwondo which teaches almost no active, serious punching...a master would have as much skill with a pair of boxing gloves as a cat with a mobile phone. king fu is somewhat less aerial and uses combination punching, so, who knows? but, really, i think that in most cases, it stands to reason that a capable boxer would have an easy time with a martial arts master for the same reasons that i imagine even a second string division one college basketball player would destroy an all-time great nfl running back in a game of one-on-one. bruce lee once took part in a boxing tournament, close to his athletic prime. he barely cracked the top ten out of fifty or so in the tournament, if memory serves, and those were amateurs. so, i imagine it might be something like that.

i thought floyd was the martial arts master at boxing...all that running and mugging and pitter-patter stuff and jumping around and weird facemaking. ha. kidding, he was the best p-4-p for a time, i admit, but i never liked him.

''Let the Bodies Hit the Floor'' was originally a Chuck Norris theme song.
