I wouldn't personally complain about any 10-6 round

Its fine with me, but I think an official ruling needs to be made across the sanctioning bodies

I know this is a boxing discussion, but this is one of the problems with scoring in MMA. The judges only score it 10-9, and VERY VERY rarely a 10-8 (can't even think of a time it happene). Because of this, there have been some very bad decisions due to a fighter getting completely dominated in rounds but getting the decision due to the 10-9 scoring.

I Dana White has bitched about his and wants better judging to use the full spectrum of the 10 point system.

I remember that from Lederman as well, though what's the point of a 10 point must if not all of the 10 points will be used?

    ^^^ yes this

It should be 10-6. The knockdown needs to be rewarded otherwise what's the point.

It's up to the judges to decide really. I have no issue with either 10-6 or 10-7. It's not often you see a fight with 3 KDs in 1 round without there being a 3 KD rule in effect so it's rarely an issue.

In the case of Pac Marquez 1 I could score rd 1 10-6 and still have Marquez winning 115-113 so no issue there from me.

shoulds always be 10-6, otherwise it give the advantage of the hurt fighter who's suffered 2 knockdowns to take a knee to see out a round knowing they won't be penalised further on the cards.

I agree with this. Especially now that the three-knockdown rule is no longer in effect.

Minus one point for losing the round and minus one point for each knockdown. 10-6. First of all why should someone get zero credit for the third knockdown? And second, a fight should always be scored round by round. Taking things into account like how far behind fighter X might get in the fight is absolutely trash judging in my eyes.

Marquez didn't win 8 of the last 11 rounds.

    10-6

But don't get into specifics & details because if that's the case PAC gets DQ'd for hitting Marquez while on the floor or after the knockdown.
