You're speculating on that, aren't you. You can't be sure if the public will go for it, after Mitchell has already has shown how limited he is. And you don't know how much McCloskey will sell.

From a boxing point of view, McCloskey is a solid EBU champion who is ranked well by organizations, top 10 in the Ring. Besides a 60 seconds KO of Khan, which is starting to look like it was one in a million, Prescott's done nothing in his career. McCloskey would batter him, he's a much better option.

Make a poll then so everyone on ESB can let u know if they think Khan needs to fight Precott again.
People have already brought up Klit & Pac being KO'd etc.

And you don't think Prescott would be overpricing himself?

Prescott would be looking for the payday of his entire career here ! :patsch

The difference with the khan klit pac debate is khan is short on opponents and has been complaining about the viable opponents demaninding too much money i.e. peterson.

Therefore why not fight the guy who knocked you out, where revenge will be gracious, make your biggest payday and have the guy fight for chump change which prescott clearly wuld do in a heartbeat.

Why would I ask that? that's not the point im making. I dont say Khan needs! to fight him again, I say if he's isn't fighting him, dont make out its cause it holds no relevance, and I dont need to vote on whether he holds any relevance, cause my own commonsense will tell me he has the potentail to make Khan a **** load of cash, more so than McCloskey, and has the ability to change the general Boxing public's opinion of him, the ones who say him get knocked out.

Alright, that is speculating. But tell me one fight where Prescott looked close world class? Other than KOing Khan of course :yep

We have seen a good bit of him now since that fight, and he's looked god awful. Have you seen his fight against Cuello, he was brutal.

Where as McCloskey has beating some decent opponents and gotten himself on the verge of a world title shot anyway.

Posters like you cried out Maidana this and Maidana that all day long, and after Khan beat him, you didn't give him an ounce of credit.

The fact of the matter is Khan has moved on to bigger and better things, while Prescott's' career is in a dump, saved only by posters like you who try to keep him relevant because you have no other excuse to hate on Khan.

Let's see Prescott/Mitchell or Prescott/Vasquez first, then Prescott can talk about Khan. Until then, all he wants is a payday he doesn't deserve and I'm not one to walk over and give it to him. I'd see Khan fight Mitchell before the loser Prescott :hi:

Tell my who McCloskey has fought, that puts him on that level, least Prescott has that win, McCloskey fights Lauri and the like.

I think I did, did he beat on Cuello(on ESPN) and look as though he was going to take him out but he managed to go the distance or something? can remember him mercifully putting a beating on a recent opponent that I thought he was sure to stop, but he managed to make it through.

I'm not saying he shouldn't fight him in fact in another thread I was one of the 1st ones to mention Prescott. I was saying just because it makes money doesn't make it relevant. Khan is fighting in a different league to Prescott ATM so khan wouldn't gain much (tho I'd fight Prescott if I was khan). Khan would probably just outbox him but people will still say he has a china chin & will get KTFO. The only people who give a **** about Khan - Prescott are the haters hoping he'll get KO'd again

Khan does not need to face Prescott, I don't see the big deal.

The bitter truth is Prescott has got to catch up to Khan, that's the way things work. Fans don't always get the fights that they wanna see, prime examples Haye v Klitschko's, Pacman v Floyd.

People who are adamant on Prescott rematch should be aware that if they knew whats best then they would be promoters instead. So there is an obvious reason why Prescott fight is not even being looked at. If Prescott is so crap then what is the point of fighting him just to avenge a defeat. Unifying a title is better than avenging a defeat. Khan is not afraid if he was he wouldn't fight Maidana so these claims are pointless and are made by typical bird brains.
