Seems as if they're finding it difficult to get anyone to fight Hrgovic.

Should they just make him mandatory? IBF mandatory Hrgovic for me. Only people ahead of him are Usyk and ****ing Charles Martin!

They should but they won't. It is interesting however how many guys are currently ducking him. All these guys cry about getting a shot at AJ and the belts. But when they get a direct path to it, they duck.

Well, if bearing in mind that I had valued Hunter highly cos he had risked with glorified 0 and agreed to fight vs Usyk who then was in prime, now I can't tell anything.

Hrgovic might ( if someone is willing to invest in him seriously not only talk ) maybe get fight vs Chisora and Pulev. Pulev even still is ranked by IBF somewhere.

Then there is old rusty Briedis, he is ranked highly by IBF today and if he had moved up to HW and vacated The Ring and IBF belt, after he had tune up fight at HW, he theoretically should be ranked highly and looks that is money hungry too.
If $ enough, I think he might agree to fight vs Hrgovic.
I suspect that if $ enough he might agree to fight vs Hrgovic at HW even if this will not warrant a title shot.
A bit warning sign: looks that he most likely had milked CW career better than Usyk if exclude Usyk vs Bellew fight. $ .

Maybe he might get some cats moving up to HW and highly ranked?

I think Hrgovic needs 3-4 tune up fights before a tittle fight for sure. Too " green " today.

He's not done anywhere near enough to be in title contention yet.

If he's not getting the step-up fights to earn a place in that conversation, then ask yourself why...
One option is that he's trying to jump the queue and guys he wants to fight don't feel he's earned it yet, another option is that he's pricing himself out of the fights he should be in by demanding more than he's going to pull in - IMHO the idea that he's too dangerous to risk fighting is likely to be secondary at best.

The guy has promise undeniably and he's got the potential to climb that ladder, but he's nowhere near mandatory yet.

Hrgovic just needs to stay active and fight. It does him no good to sit and wait sit and wait.

Hrgovic is decent but he is overhyped he was getting tagged quite a few times by no heart no win Molina.

Gotta give Hunter props for taking on a prime Usyk.. Not a lot of hypejobs will take that kind of risk

Agree, but I think he's being ducked by most in the top 10 as too risky for the reward.
If Hrgovic has stay busy fights vs. HWs outside top 50 or even top 25 he'll get criticized for not "stepping up".

The guy can't win right now. All these boxing orgs should analyze if a fighter is being avoided and set them up for a good bout.

Of course, at first he should had picked another way to earn for a living, he is not from proper country and this is not possible to change.
A good hero to be punched in the face for a living should be from proper country in order to get large fanbase and yelling fans pressing on buttons " buy PPV ".

Second thing: if he was from US or U.K with good promoter they had booked for him enough well known over the hill fighters , shot fighters and made him like future cash cow : over the hill Pov fight, Takam , out of retirement old Wlad, then nice matchup with obese Panda and Pulev.

Hrgovic needs Pulev and Chisora fights asap, maybe it is worth to reanimate again old Povetkin to book fight vs him.
Vuala, there is also Takam still around to book for fight.

Perhaps, but has he actually EARNED a top ten level fight?

I would say he hadn't yet - his hype might make it seem like he has, but his best win is Molina so even gatekeepers outside top ten would be a big step up.

Taking aim at a gatekeeper level fighter like Chisora or Ortiz would be a massive step up on Molina - forget top ten, they're way beyond what he's fought to date.

Heck, throw him in with another potentially dangerous fighter trying to climb the ladder - a Wallin or Dubois would represent a step in the right direction and in both cases it's probably a win-win.

Failing that, try for someone who's been in with the champions and lost but been fairly solid otherwise... Say a Breazeale, etc.

He's not even close to proven enough to be taking aim at top ten level fighters, he's gotta earn those stripes first.

I'd be fine with any of those - it's a step up without trying to jump the queue before proving it.

I mentioned a few potential angles in my other post, but either test him against other upcoming fighters, aging gatekeepers or someone in need of a redemption... Guys that are well proven in the top ten are going to laugh at you and tell you to ****ing prove yourself first - if Wilder still had a belt he'd take it on, but that's about it.

    ask decent paychecks.

Doesn't looks that Hrgovic does have management and investors willing really invest in him $ in order to milk him out later.
Otherwise yeah, they had booked the same Chisora ( I doubt that someone today is really willing to invest money for such purse in order to develop Hrgovic credentials and ranking, fight record etc ), Pulev ( might be good surname for resume and still is highly ranked ) and some Takam or like this fighters for Hrgovic to fight with.

Investments usually are done for fighters from US and UK etc alike.
If Hrgovic was german, I think someone had already invested more, I mean paid his opponents purses.

Like A.J nicely had been properly developed and turned into a cash cow. Yeah, he is from U.K and this is big difference.
    Then boxer deserves more automatically.
