If a young Mike Tyson turned up today on the HW scene, how would things pan out?

I rate Wlad very highly but he is a safety first fighter - that is his psyche - and Tyson would scare the hell out of him.

He'd probably get a belt pretty fast. He'd kill Povetkin, who I kinda liked when he was a volume puncher with good stamina but now seems to have fell in love with burgers. Vitali is too old nowadays, but could've beaten him in his prime (wrong style for Tyson). I don't think Wlad would be able to impose his will on a young Tyson. He's a really good boxer, possible ATG, but he'd get KOed under 3 rounds.

Unless there was a legendary fighter like buster Douglas around.

 

Tyson-Vitali would be like Tyson-Ruddock but more clumsy and slower.

And btw in the Douglas fight where he was completely unprepared, out of shape, unmotivated and probably drugged and hooker'd out he took a beating and still came back to drop Douglas and arguably should've won the fight right there. If he had no heart and just quit every time someone stood up to him then he wouldnt have even seen the 5th rond of that fight let alone the 10th taking a massive beating.

People swear its like a movie where the kid stands up to the bully and the bully just runs home crying because the little ****** kid he is 3 times the size off didn't just give up his lunch money.
