That's because it was announced that hopkins wants to challenge the pole for his cruserweight crown.

Hopkins is a great fighter and I never seen Adamek fight yet, but I heard that Cunningham fight was good, but Hopkins is a very smart fighter and even when he losses he knows how to win!!!

Welp, and Hopkins picks up a nice win to enter the Cruiserweight division, stepping stone to a Heavyweight win at Age 45.

Hopkins might suffer his first KO loss if he goes thru with this fight w/ adamek. Adamek is no clumsy ass john ruiz. He is a skilled presser w/ and ironm jaw and punch to boot. Hops spoiler tactics won't work and tomasz.
The pole is too big at cruiser.

People have been praying for a Hopkins KO loss for years now for so many reasons, yet it just won't seem to happen.

It won't happen against Adamek either. Bank on it.

He should fight cunningham again, I think Showtime would be all over that fight.

What will Adamek do to beat a smart B-Hop, If Calzaghe couldn't get to B-Hop and Calzaghe throws over a thousand punches a fight than what would make you think that Adamek can get through B-Hops defense, Adamek defense isn't that great which is lunch for a fighter like Hopkins which can counter you all day without you landing one clean solid shot on him all night!!!

One punch of Adamek's equals a million Calslappy's and a thousand Ghosts.

Yes, Cunningham then Dawson. Hopkin is just a meaningless distraction and a nice money fight/resume builder.

Adamek showed he can be outboxed in the Cunningham fight...So I think Hopkins can pull it off.

We already knew this from Dawson. Against, Cunningham he wasn't exactly outboxed since he won the decision. I highly doubt Hopkins can take a single flush power shot of Adamek's. Can he avoid them all night? As you found out tonight (and as most of Adamek's fans knew for years) this guy, unlike the Ghost, has single punch KO power.

Beating Adamek is possible for Hopkins, but who would he beat at cruiserweight? The Klitchko's vs. Hopkins would be ridiculous. Valuev even more ridiculous. If Holyfield fights Valuev in a rematch and then beats him, a Holyfield/Hopkins fight I would go with Hopkins.

Adamek showed definie improveents as a boxer from Dawson to Cunningha. Very similar fighters, very similar in quality, it's just that Dawson is a southpaw and Adamek was a drained 175 when he fought him.

Perfect fight for Adamek si Dawson rematch up at cruiser but I can't see Dawson giving him that chance, taking such an unnecessary risk vs a guy he beat already.
