IF Adamek beats Vitali, would that surpass Buster Douglas beating Tyson?

    I dont think so.

Adamek is a third HW in the world right now and Vitali is considered second. Adamek is a former LHW and CW champion and a proven HW (top5 HW since more than a year, now ranked #3). There cant be any more credible opponent for Vitali right now (I dont count Wladimir who wont fight him).

There are some people that think that it will be a mismatch, so maybe they will be that shocked if Adamek wins.

Douglas v Tyson was probably the biggest upset in boxing history bar none. If Adamek wins it won't even go close to matching what Douglas did.

No and it isn't even close.

Douglas v tyson is widely regarded as the greatest upset in history. This was a journey man knocking out iron mike tyson, the guy predicted to be as dominant as joe louis was.

What we have today is a prime p4p rated and number 2 ranked heavyweight up against a past prime 40 year old visibly slowing down beltholder who isn't even the best in his division.

Truth be told I wouldn't be that surprised if adamek outpointed vitali.

Vitali is on his way down.

    Absolutely not.

    Mike Tyson was supposedly untouchable.
