If AJ beats Wlad, it's gonna be one of those wins where you think, AJ still hasn't been properly tested! 41 years old, inactive, coming off a loss and poor performance against Jennings. You don't want to discredit AJ if he beats Wlad but it's hard not to when you look at it like that! 2017 has to be Wlad then Parker, Parker will be game! This forum seems split with people who think Wlad win and people who think AJ will walk through him
2017 will probably see him fight Wlad and Ortiz plus a mandatory. I think you're right though it could be a while till we see him in a 50/50 fight.
Joshua would kill Parker. Beating Parker proves nothing, if he beats Wilder or Fury(who knows what state he is at now), then that really proves something.
The OP is correct. If he beats Wladimir, don't be surprised if he's lined up with Haye, another meaningless washed-up 'name' opponent. Then if he beats Haye, perhaps it will be "38 year old" Ortiz (providing Eddie Hearn gets the Cuban more exposure). A steady diet of tired, injured old men looking for their retirement bonus.
The mandatory challenges can be manipulated. Don't be surprised if Haye gets the mandatory position somehow.
Wlad, Haye, Ortiz is a fair level of fights for 2017 to be honest. 2018 Parker Fury and Wilder is a wet dream of a trio
If AJ beats Wlad in devastating fashion then no way is Haye getting in that ring. The only man I could see beating AJ is Wilder and even he would be an underdog.
Although he's pushing 41 and has slipped Wlad must still see something in AJ that he can exploit, well there is quite a bit because AJ is far from the finished article. Just makes me wonder how well Joshua did in sparring with Wlad.
Wlad does not have that mean streak in him like older Vitali or old George Foreman who carried on into their 40's. If Wlad is looking to dance and stink the place out then AJ is the wrong type of opponent for that. Unless Wlad plays all his advantages via K2 Promotions (big ring, choice of gloves, referee, bigger pay purse, judges, lax drug testing etc etc) then Eddie Hearn will end up loading it in favour of Joshua. Wlad is not dumb, he knows he needs everything in his favour to be a very very active and ferocious fighter in AJ.
Aj is so much of a greater fighter than Wladimir. There is NO comparison , Aj is like taking only the greatest assets of both Wladimir and Vitali and once you create the superman hw you now have AJ,!!!!
Wlad - Old Parker - Nothing special Haye - Old Wilder - Glass chinned fraud Ortiz - Old Fury - Mentally shot Then there are all the PED accusations. There will be an excuse to deny him credit no matter what.
I agree with you for the most part, but unfortunately there is some truth here. Despite that assessment being a bit harsh on some of them, there are no proven elite fighters at HW right now without significant flaws.
