If AJ fights Breazeale, will the Wilder haters condemn AJ?

Joshua's been a pro for less than 3 years and he's still fighting someone I've actually heard of in his first defense rather than some no namers.

 

Saying that, Wilder's fighting Povetkin now, there's really not much reason to give him flack or talk about his past opponents. He's fighting one of the best, what's in the past is in the past.

Agreed, it would be a mistake. Fury is the number 1 heavyweight in the world at the moment and Joshua is yet to face a genuine world class heavyweight, the jump up in class would be too much at the moment.

A fight with Fury needs to be built up, Fury needs time to build a legacy by defending his title and Joshua needs time to mature. There is no need to rush this fight Fury is only 27 and Joshua 26, the fight would have more meaning later down the line when both have proven themselves more.
