In my opinion. No. I think Hrgovic knocks AJ out.

Big H took some of Zhang's best shots and managed to not get knocked out. (Yes I think he lost that fight) But still showed heart and grit to get through the rounds, when It seemed like he really didn't want to be there.

Hrgovic struggled with Zhang, he's not beating AJ.

From what I understand, he lost his dad 4 months before. So Its understandable why he didn't really put much Into it mentally. Although, there were times where he looked very good.

I think Zhang blows AJ Into next week. Just my opinion.

I would give like a 55/45 edge to AJ.

Its a very risky fight for him to take at this stage and on such short notice.

    Difficult fight to call.

After the Zhang fight (which I thought he lost), I would have given him zero chance.

Having seen what Zhang did to Joe Joyce, it has aged well on Hrgovic. It was a close fight and he took some bombs, and finished well.

AJ could fight boring and win. But if they trade I don’t see him coming out on top

If Joshua had a full camp to prepare for Hrgovic, I'd favour him, more consistent jab, better movement, better variety and defence. Hrgovic's style relies a lot on his size, leaning back to avoid punches, keeping opponents at his range where I think Joshua is just as adept if not more so, but he does have a punchers chance.

But on short notice it's a different proposition. Whyte fights nothing like Hrgovic and AJ doesn't have the ring IQ to adapt on the fly in any major way. I'd still favour Joshua, but Hrgovic would go from a live underdog to a very dangerous opponent.

I'd be very surprised if they picked Hrgovic on short notice, would be like when Lewis picked Vitali on short notice to replace Johnson and Joshua is no Lewis.

Smokes him. Hrg, Zhang, Joyce, Bakole are below him.

Completely different to Lewis. Vitali was always preparing for Lewis where as Hrgovic has been preparing for a southpaw Mckean. The short notice should actually favour Joshua rather than Hrgovic.

I dont know, Hrgovic prepared for southpaw fighter, he would not be on his best to fight AJ, if he had months to pepare then yes, but AJ cant be underestimated, ex champ, olympian, more experience.

I agree that Hrgovic should not fight Joshua, I would not like him to be his opponent, less than a week is not even close to enough time for Hrgovic to adapt to a different style.

BS excuse. If you're not in a fit state to fight then don't fight.

Difficult to know how good AJ is now though, but I still think he'd outbox Zhang to a UD.

Wasn't impressed with Hrgovic VS Zhang but AJ is cought between styles if Joshua gets on the front font and Hrgovic just switches off like he did at times I think Joshua can foce a stoppage or a points win. At the moment its hard to say which version would turn up but a big guy with a decent jab isn't something Joushua should struggle with even now.
