They keep comparing AJ vs Ruiz to Lewis vs Rahman and Lewis vs McCall but they were One Punch KTFO of Lewis not a dismantling breakdown like AJ vs Ruiz and of course the Brits only focus on the rematches Lewis had ignoring the fact that he was flattened by 1 punch by 2 different guys that were never that great...
If AJ is hurt again then he doesn't recover mentally in my opinion, he basically crumbles. I can see it all caving in on him if he is hurt or dropped. The things AJ is saying and the way he is acting is like he is looking for reassurances, I think the defeat, the loss has had far more of an effect mentally than we all realise. FFS he was even asking Kugan Cassius in one interview "what do you think".. it's this need for constant reassurance that seems to have been missed and should be ringing alarm bells for every AJ fan out there. I mean with respect why does he care what a YouTube interviewer thinks of his public workout?
Despite what Joshua says in interviews, he looks dead in the eyes. I think he's trying to convince himself with all his talk, he looks done to me.
Anyone else noticed the weird thing ruiz does with his lips in interviews? He sort of puckers/twitches his lips... You just can't unsee it once you notice, he's like a shat ventriloquist without a puppet. Lol I find him more and more annoying each time I see/hear him.
Wlad let everyone down, then he gets on the phone to help Joshua beat Ruiz and revive the hype machine. What a disgrace! After the Wlad-Joshua finish, Vitali was angry when Joshua's inner 'thug' came out and he disrespected Wlad. Instead of having the normal reaction of a competitive male and wanting to avenge the humiliation or at the very least being contemptuous, Wlad developed a love affair with Joshua, basically becoming his *** hag. This shows the difference between him and his brother quite clearly. Wlad is a physical monster but psychologically he's a submissive liberal male who gets toyed with by Hollywood whores.
That is I did say pretty much in my post, some posters do not agree, but it is their prerogative. I believe more into the emotional aspect of this fight. Proper training and technique are fine, but if you are emotionally damaged inside, you are prone to failure. Not to boast, I do have a degree in psychology, and have learned a lot, still learning.
He took about 3 rounds to recover, quite a while. Klitschko just didn't capitalise because he got ahead of himself and thought he could cruise the rest of the way.
I think in the 3rd and 4th rounds Joshua kept asking his corner "what did he hit me with?". the shot that had Joshua dancing the jig and heading to the canvas was a left hook to the right temple but Brits like to quote Hearn who said after the fight when he jumped in the ring and the stadium full of Brits was booing him he said: "he got hit with a shot behind the ear and never recovered!" which is bogus on slow motion replays, obvious a blind person would see the left hook to AJ's right Temple and Joshua is wobbling towards the canvas!!
