I'm not saying they will . I just think it's a good test to see Joshuas true value here in the states . But what if Joshua Miller surpass Fury -Wilder. Will people say that it was Millers value that helped AJ and try to bring AJs value down ? This is just speculation. what will be the excuses if this were to happen ?
It’s a different platform, so it’ll be impossible to gauge this. I’d understand if it were PPV vs PPV, but it isn’t.
No matter what happens they will try to bring Joshua's value down, they been trying that since day 1 and are doing it today. Right now Joshua is the divisions A side no matter how much team Wilder and the LDBC want to screech and shout otherwise. The facts and figures prove it very clearly. Tickets wise i bet theres very little in it, but TV viewing comparisons are so different with 1 being PPV and the other susbscription based i dont know who is going to show and use what to brag about anything. Im sure Widler fans will try to use these fights to prove Wilder is some sort of A side over Anthony Joshua but they already tried that with the 1st Fury fight and it didnt even get close to AJ numbers. Quite clearly Joshua's overall numbers are going to take a hit in this fight. This is not in the UK, it will lose PPV sales but i expect the LDBC and Wilder to point at the loss in numbers as some sort of proof of something.
There should be a much more media buzz and ticket sales interest in the Joshua fight . Even with Finkel and Warren combined you'll see as with fighting there's levels to promoting to. Joshua just has the style everyone wants to see , it's a clear advantage for him over 2 Back foot preferred fighters . And the fight itself is like two trains colliding.
