If AJ really wanted to prove himself and improve as a fighter he would have fought Ortiz on Saturday

He's still better than Wilder, but that is not saying much......................Parker or Ruiz could beat him, but Vlad will knock him out first.........................

Molina was too easy for Joshua. Straight from the refs instructions inside the ring, Molina looked uncontrollably nervous. It wasn't a title fight, it was a mis-match. Molina didn't even fight because Joshua scared the living day lights out of him.

Ortiz is under Hearn as well so unless they're the only ones left, Joshua vs Ortiz won't happen unless Hearns great great great grandkids could become millionaires of it. He's got old man Wlad up next and that will boost his resume.

Please Hearn, no more Molinas or easybeats for Joshua.

You two are forgetting about the Klitchko fight.
Molina was a stay busy fight to set up the biggest fight of 2017.

As for Ortiz, i think he will likely be set up for a fight with Whyte. I believe there is a strong possibility of that fight taking place on the Klitchko-Joshua undercard.

Ortiz screwed up signing with Hearn in my opinion. I'm curious to whom he's fighting in his next fight. Think he's already past the level of fighting the likes of Allen, and Scott. Title shot next year, or he's being strung along.

Joshua seems to be such a local draw that he could box a broom and the people would still pay. He won't risk taking a legit challenge until he has to.

    Joshua vs Ortiz = competitive
    Molina vs Alen = competitive

But AJ vs Molina and Ortiz vs Allen is what we paid for. #MisMatchroom...

I think AJ is just about out of sparring sessions disguised as title defenses. Then again these UK fans might keep filling the seats regardless of who he's fighting.

The game changer is the IBF belt,I think if AJ had no belt then folk wouldn't have a problem with his recent opponents as he's still only 18 fights in and learning but I said when AJ got the IBF belt that he'd need to step up and he'd have the IBF picking his opponents, that said if you look closely at his recent fight he had Pulev turn him down,Parker who was in mandatory chose a different path,Povetkin and Stiverne are both engaged,Wilder injured and Wlad was meant to be injured postponing a match up until April so in my estimation it left only Ortiz who Hearn has been trying to get exposure and I forgot David Haye is on with Bellew so I don't think we can really be too hard on AJ in this instance.
I'd say 19 fights in an aged Wlad is still a bigger challenge than most of the division and I reckon Wlad would beat an equally aged Ortiz,I'm reserving judgement until April and after as after all Deontay Wilder has more experience with equally poor opposition no?

AJ isn't fighting Ortiz for small cheese. I mean, these fighters shouldn't have a choice, at the same time the public tends to look down on a fighter with a loss. Wilder being injured gave AJ some cover so he can choose his victim. Wilder/Ortiz are two fighters Eddie Hearn is talking about needing to build the fight with a straight face. That's for a reason.

Can't see Ortiz v AJ happening anytime soon, maybe not even until 2019.

Ortiz is around 50 years old and can't keep waiting for fights. Him in against Chisora/Whyte/Takam/Pulev wouldn't be bad markers to see where he really is at, although I doubt Hearn wants anything derailing a Whyte v Chisora rematch for their next fight as that has the potential to be a massive earner.
